However, we recommend that you engage an auditor as part of your control procedures, even if not statutorily required.

2. Corporation Tax Services

We will prepare the company’s corporation tax self-assessment return as required under tax legislation.

The corporation tax return and supporting schedules will be forwarded to you for approval and signature.

Once signed, we will submit them to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).

We will advise you on corporation tax payments due, assist in making claims and elections where applicable, and work with HMRC to agree on the company's tax liability.

If the company makes a loan to a participator, such as a shareholder, tax may be payable.

We can advise on the tax implications if notified of such loans.

Please note that you are legally responsible for ensuring accurate returns and timely payment of tax.

3. Personal Tax – Individuals

We will prepare personal self-assessment tax returns for the directors, limited to earnings from the company.

Additional charges may apply for other income sources.

We will calculate income tax, NIC, and any capital gains tax liabilities, and check HMRC’s tax and NIC calculations.

Repayment claims will be initiated if necessary.

PAYE notices of coding will be reviewed, and we will provide guidance.

Please provide us with all necessary information for completing your tax return by the due date, ideally at least three months in advance.

4. VAT Services

We will manage VAT registration, preparation, and submission of VAT returns, advising on VAT schemes suitable for your business and informing you of any legislative changes affecting your operations.

In compliance with HMRC’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) regulations, we will ensure all VAT records are compatible with MTD software for seamless submission.

It is important that you notify us promptly of any changes in your business that could impact VAT registration.

5. Pension Services

We will manage all aspects of auto-enrolment under the Pensions Act 2008, using NEST as the default pension scheme.

We will accommodate other schemes upon advance notice.

Administrative tasks related to employee enrollment, compliance, and contributions will be handled by us, including submission to The Pensions Regulator.

Please report any changes to employee pension preferences at least five business days before month-end to ensure smooth processing.
